Just a few kilometers from Gervanne Camping, the Gare des Ramières in Allex is the home of the Réserve Naturelle Nationale des Ramières de la Drôme.

Housed in a restored former railway station, it is now a place of discovery dedicated to the river, its flora and fauna, and the natural environments so characteristic of the valley.

A perfect place to understand the Drôme… in a different way.

The Réserve des Ramières protects one of the last wild natural areas in the Drôme valley.

We discover :

It’s a haven for many species:
beavers, herons, dragonflies, fish, wild orchids…

The Gare des Ramières offers an educational exhibition, accessible to children and adults alike, to help them better understand this fragile and precious ecosystem.

From the campsite, you can cycle to Gare des Ramières by bike along the Vélodrômethe greenway that runs the length of the valley.

We set off in the morning on our bikes, visit the reserve’s house, have a picnic on the banks of the Drôme… and then head home.
