You can set off on foot, by bike or by canoe, lose yourself in the paths lined with lavender in spring and sunflowers in summer, stop at the bend in a hamlet to chat with an artisan or taste a goat’s cheese. The valley is lively, warm and sincere: a true Drôme, where you take the time to breathe, contemplate and savor. Between Vercors, Diois and Drôme provençale, the landscapes are constantly changing: mountains and garrigues, vineyards and forests, rivers and lavender. Visits & discoveries
From Gervanne Camping, discover the perched villages, craftsmen and natural sites that make up the region’s charm.
Stroll through the narrow streets of Crest and climb its famous tower, explore Saillans and its flower-filled lanes, or let yourself be seduced by Mirmande, ranked one of France’s most beautiful villages.
The valley also abounds in more discreet treasures: the Gare des Ramières and its nature reserve, lavender distilleries, or the Auberge des Dauphins, nestled in the Saoû forest.
On foot, by bike or by car, let yourself be guided by the scents of thyme, lavender and garrigue.

Canoe down the Drôme, climb the Omblèze rocks, climb trees, hike, bike, ride horses or even donkeys… here, the landscape becomes your playground.
From Gervanne Camping, a number of signposted trails lead to the river, the forest or the Vercors ridges. Catherine, who is passionate about nature and walking, is happy to share her favorite routes.
At reception, you’ll find IGN maps, hiking sheets and personalized advice according to season or level.
Spring and autumn are perfect for walking, with nature in bloom, a mild climate and luminous landscapes.
The Drôme is a land of biodiversity: orchids, chamois, griffon vultures, golden eagles… every walk is an encounter.

Markets & local produce
You can also discover the Drôme through your taste buds.
Sparkling Clairette, melting goat cheeses, golden honey, caillette, ravioles, fruits of the sun… This is a proud and generous land, where every market tells a story, and every producer shares his passion.
Don’t leave without sampling the local specialties: wines, olive oils, picodon, couve Crestoise, nougat, pogne, herbal teas and craft beers.
And for those who like to cook, Nadège and Benjamin, at the “Près d’ici” grocery store, will help you fill your basket with good local produce.

Local events & entertainment
Here, conviviality is alive and well all year round.
The valley beats to the rhythm of its village fêtes, night markets, festivals and major nature events. In summer, the lanes come alive, brass bands march past, the Clairette flows freely and the evenings are lit up by the light of lanterns.
Campers love this simple, joyful atmosphere, where everyone comes together for a drink, a concert or a craft market.
