Are you planning your stay at Gervanne Camping?

Here you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our accommodation, pitches, services and life on site.

And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, Catherine, Sonia and Marion are always on hand at reception to help.

Arrival, departure and timetable

What are the arrival and departure times?

➡️Emplacements nus : arrival from 2pm, departure between 8.30am and 12am.
In the off-season, it is possible to arrive or leave at other times, by prior arrangement with reception.
➡️Locations : arrival from 4pm, departure between 8.30am and 10am.
Appointments for inventory of fixtures must be made the day before at reception.
You may leave before these times, but the €250 deposit (cheque or credit card) will be forfeited after we have checked

Can we arrive late or leave early?

Yes, you can! Just let reception know.

Can we choose our location?

Yes, you can indicate your preferences when booking:

– in the sun or in the shade,
– close to the swimming pool and sanitary facilities, or quieter,
– by the river or on the upper part of the campsite.

We always do our best to accommodate your wishes, subject to availability.

Can I book side-by-side pitches?

Yes, it’s possible!
Just let us know when you book, we always try to group families or friends together, depending on availability.

How many nights do I need to book?

  • Pitches can be booked for as little as one night.
  • For rentals, the minimum stay is 2 nights in low season and 7 nights in July and August.

Pitches and accommodation

Can I add an extra tent or car to my pitch?

Yes, you can add an extra tent, car or motorcycle on the same pitch, as long as you don’t exceed the maximum surface area and capacity (7 people).

A surcharge may apply in some cases.

Is parking available for rentals?

Yes, each rental has a private parking space in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation.

What does accommodation rental include?

Each accommodation includes :

  • Crockery, kitchen utensils, fridge, microwave and coffee maker,
  • Pillows, comforters and blankets,
  • Terrace with garden furniture.

Bed linen, towels and tea towels are not provided, but can be hired on request.

Is there a television?

Some accommodations are equipped with TV (channels 1 to 6).
The bar-restaurant broadcasts major sporting events on request.

Is there PRM accommodation?

Yes, Chalet Origan complies with PMR standards:
no steps, wider doors, walk-in shower, accessible furniture, step-free terrace.

Animals

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome under certain conditions:

Up-to-date vaccination record and compulsory identification,

Permanently leashed,

Bags available at reception.

Pets are allowed on pitches throughout the season.
Pets are only allowed in rental accommodation out of high season, with prior authorization from the management.

They must not be left alone, or allowed to climb onto beds and sofas.

A vacuum cleaner can be lent for cleaning before departure.

Swimming pools and rivers

Can you swim in the Drôme and Gervanne rivers?

Yes, the Drôme runs alongside the campsite and offers several natural bathing spots.
Water levels vary according to the season, and water quality is checked every month.
The cooler Gervanne(often 10°C cooler) is perfect for fishing or dogs.
Fishing is regulated (1st category, license required) and no-kill is encouraged.

Is the pool heated and supervised?

Yes, it’s heated. The pool is supervised during peak hours in July and August.
An adult-only time slot is available every morning from 9am to 10am for leisure swims.

Which swimsuits are allowed?

Only bathing suits are allowed.

Shorts, boardshorts and Bermudas are forbidden, for reasons of hygiene and to keep the pumps running smoothly.

It’s also an ecological gesture: bathing shorts retain a lot of water when they leave the pool, which increases water loss.

Bikes and mobility

Are there bike rentals?

Yes, you can rent directly from reception:

  • Electric mountain bikes and mountain bikes for adults,
  • Mountain bikes and children’s bikes,

    with helmets, baby seats, padlocks and route maps.
    Rentals are available by the half-day, day or week.
    A deposit is required for electric bikes.

Is there a charging point for electric cars?

Yes, 2 minutes’ walk from the Mirabel-et-Blacons village parking lot (Espace des Cascades).
Network: eborn, charging by RFID badge (type 2 socket).
It is forbidden to plug a vehicle into the sockets on pitches or rentals (risk of overheating).

Rates, payment and taxes

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept :

  • Credit card,
  • Species,
  • ANCV vacation vouchers(paper and e-vouchers)
  • Bank transfer.

What are the payment terms for rentals?

  • 30% deposit on reservation,
  • The balance 30 days before arrival.
    In the event of non-payment, the reservation may be cancelled.

What about pitches?

  • 70€ deposit on reservation,
  • Balance on arrival.

How much is the tourist tax?

Tourist tax is payable by everyone over 18.
The amount is set by the communauté de commune de la vallée and indicated at the time of booking (since 2025: €0.66 per night and per adult).

Cancellations and insurance

What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?

  • Pitches: without insurance, cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival may be reimbursed on presentation of medical proof, minus a €15 administration fee. After this deadline, no refund is possible.
  • Rentals: without insurance, cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival will incur a €15 handling fee and a €60 handling fee. After this period, no refund is possible.

What if I've taken out cancellation insurance?

You can take it out at the time of booking (or up to 48 hours later).
It is offered through our partner Neat, adapted according to the type of stay:

  • 70% refund without reason
  • 100% reimbursement on presentation of supporting documents.

In case of late arrival?

Simply inform reception: your pitch or rental is reserved for 24 hours, without any reduction in price.

After this time, it may be reallocated and the sums paid will be retained by Gervanne Camping.

Transport and access

How do I get to and around the campsite?

  • Bus: stop right in front of the campsite (line D28 Crest ↔ Die)
  • Railway station: Crest, 10 minutes by car.
  • Cabs: available on request from reception.
  • On-site bike hire for local trips.
