Canoeing down the Drômeadventure along the river

Discovering the Drôme by canoe is one of the valley’s most typical and beautiful experiences. The river is wild, changing every year, and always full of surprises: grandiose landscapes, secret bathing spots accessible only by water, birdwatching, fish spotting… and sometimes even the discreet trace of a beaver… A simple, practical outing… which leaves directly from the campsite.

We work with Canoë Drômewho will pick you up in front of Gervanne Camping by minibus and take you to their base in Saillans. On arrival, you don’t need a car: the descent ends directly below the campsite. Simple, convenient, stress-free!

✔ Choice of courses
– 10km
– 16km
From age 6, and you must be able to swim.
Canoes 1, 2 or 3 places available.

✔ Departures every morning and afternoon, from opening to the last day of September:
– July & August: 3 shuttles per day
– April to June & September: 1 to 2 shuttles / day (depending on attendance).

✔ Dogs are welcome in canoes.

✔ How to book from the campsite?
– You register on our notice board.
– Payment and formalities are carried out directly at the base, once the minibus has dropped you off there.
– A special rate is offered if you are a Gervanne Camping customer.

For independent adventurers: the solo descent

Would you like to leave on the day of your choice, on your own?
It’s possible with :

  • Canoë Drôme,
  • EVA,
  • Yvan Canoë.

In this case :

  • no registration via the campsite,
  • no shuttle service from Gervanne Camping,
  • but we can put you in touch with them if required.
