Nearby, the Trois Becs massif, Europe’s highest perched syncline, is home to the beautiful Saoû forest, a listed site rich in flora and fauna, including chamois, roe deer, marmots, golden eagles and peregrine falcons… making for some superb hiking!
By car, the tour of the syncline offers fantastic scenery, with essential stops at Le Poët-Célard, Bourdeaux and the Col de la Chaudière.
